Long Run
Well, I didn’t really have a long run this week. With the Garmin Troodos Trail Marathon coming up next weekend, I took this week to get it some consistent miles during the weekday and had an easy one on Sunday when we flew to Slovenia. I’ll be in Slovenia all of next week as well and not doing much running, but I’ll ramp back up next week once the race and travel is done.
Weekly Jam
Ok, this isn’t exactly in line with the other Weekly Jams I’ve been posting, but I have this song stuck in my head all week! Ever since my Spanish teacher gave me the link last year when I started classes, I’ll go through days when it’s the only tune I can spit out–it’s that catchy!
Summary
I had some good and concise training this week in preparation for the upcoming trail marathon. Next week is going to be pretty low both because I’m travelling and because I’m tapering for the race. I’ll be back to a more consistent and complete training cycle soon.
Until next week!
