Summary
My last week of training before the race is complete (my excitement shown in the header image!). I now get to coast through just a couple easy runs next week to make sure I’m ready to go for race day on Saturday. I feel as prepared as I could be at this point, and I’m excited to get my first 50k under my belt and finish strong. I really don’t care about time and placing, especially since I know there are some very strong runners participating, so I’ll be ‘racing my own race’ as they say. My next entry will be after crossing the finish line!
Here are some stats an pictures from the long run this week:
As always, see my Training Plan for the exact exercises I perform at each workout.
Until next week!
